Private Tour of Elizabeth Gamble House and Garden Palo Alto
The [Elizabeth F. Gamble Historic Home and Garden](www.gamblegarden.org) is an oasis in Old Palo Alto. Built in 1901 as the first house south of Embarcadero Rd, the two-and-a-half acre property includes the original house, carriage house and tea house, and over 26 specialty garden ‘rooms’ featuring a rose garden, cutting garden, formal herb garden, gazebo, demonstration beds, edible garden, wisteria garden, and an allée.
Join us for a 90-min walking tour of the house, history, and horticulture led by Dr. Doug Kalish (PhD, 1980) a long-time Gamble Garden guide and volunteer. We’ll meet at the front steps of the house at 1431 Waverley St, Palo Alto, and begin promptly at 5:30pm.
