Lunar New Year 2026 Celebration

Join us for a fun-filled, grand celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse with your fellow HCSV/MIT alums, family, and friends! This is our premier annual family event, and a fantastic opportunity to socialize, meet new friends, and catch up with old ones across the HCSV/MIT community—alumni, family, and friends—as well as members from other Bay Area alumni groups!

What to Expect:

– Feast Like Royalty: Enjoy a delicious traditional Chinese family-style banquet meal!
– Spectacular Lion Dancing: Witness a powerful, live performance to ward off evil spirits and usher in prosperity!
– Family Activities: Enjoy Lunar New Year inspired toys, games, puzzles, and crafts.
– Fun Photo Opportunities: Take fun pictures with festive Lunar New Year accessories with fellow LNY26 alumni, family and friends
– Socializing with fellow HCSV/MITCNC alumni, family and friends as well as other local Bay Area alumni members.

We heard from last year’s attendees that having a bit of entertainment added to the celebration atmosphere. This year, we are exploring the possibility of featuring a brief, informal talent showcase during the program.

**Know Before You Go:** Dietary Restrictions: Due to the complexity of the family-style Chinese banquet, we cannot accommodate special dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.). The menu will be posted soon.

**Getting Here:** The venue is conveniently located just 4 blocks from the South San Francisco Caltrain Station. Parking is available in the garage behind the bank.
